Renders of Google’s next smartphones – the Pixel 3a and 3a XL – have leaked online, offering a glimpse of what the devices will look like.
The pictures, obtained by Android Headlines , show the two phones side-by-side in simple cases.
Notably, they both appear to have large bezels surrounding the display, suggesting that Google is not planning to follow rivals down the “all-screen display” route.
The devices also appear to come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is placed on top of the phone.

Previous leaks have revealed that the Pixel 3a and 3a XL will be more affordable than the original Pixel 3 phones, helping to make Google’s latest technology accessible to mid-range customers.
The Google Pixel 3a will feature a 5.6-inch display, while the Google Pixel 3a XL will have a 6-inch display, according to reports.
Both the smartphones are expected to come packed with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, which is the same as the standard Pixel 3 series phones .

The Pixel 3a will reportedly be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 chip, while the XL variant is expected to have a Snapdragon 710 processor.
Reports indicate that the new devices will also come with the same 12.2 MP dual-pixel rear camera found on the Pixel 3 lineup.
This is good news, as the Pixel’s camera has become the brand’s signature feature. The Pixel 3 has been praised for its Night Sight mode, which offers great photos in low-light conditions.
The date on the home screen in the leaked render is May 7, which is when the Google I/O developers conference gets underway, suggesting that this is when the new devices will be officially unveiled.
Google has also posted a teaser image, promising that “something big is coming to the Pixel universe” on May 7.
It is thought that both of new Pixel phones will be available in an “Iris” colour, in addition to the traditional Black and White.
